Hpl Sheet Cladding Work
₹ 220/sq ftCladding Material: HPL Sheet
Application Area: Exterior Wall
High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) is a durable decorative surfacing material manufactured by compressing multiple layers of kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin, along with a decorative printed paper and a protective overlay, under high pressure (approximately 1,000 1,400 psi) and high temperature (around 120 150 C). The result is a hard, dense, and long-lasting sheet with excellent resistance to wear and environmental factors.
Construction of an HPL Sheet
An HPL sheet typically consists of:
Overlay Layer A transparent protective layer that provides resistance to scratches, stains, and abrasion.
Decorative Layer Printed paper that gives the desired color, wood grain, stone texture, or solid pattern.
Core Layers Multiple kraft paper layers saturated with phenolic resin for strength and stability.
Backing Layer Balances the sheet and improves adhesion to the substrate.
