SQL Data Base Language Course
Price On RequestSQL that
is Structured Query Language is a programming language which is used to
interact with our Database Management Systems.SQL is not specific to
DBMS or programming language or Operating system that means we can use
SQL queries with any of the DBMS.Using any programming language (java,
php etc) we can use the same SQL syntax.MySQL is a free database
software provided by mysql.com.We can create only one database in
oracle, but in MySQL ,it is possible to create multiple databases.Various
kinds of databases available are DB2 ,MySQL,Oracle,PostgreSQL, SQLite,
Sybase,SQL Server. The commands we used are called SQL commands .The same
commands can be used on any other database with slight modification. It
is a data sub language used to organize, manage and retrieve data from
relational database, which is managed by Relational Database Management
System (RDBMS). Vendors of DBMS like Oracle, IBM, DB2, SyBase use SQL as
programming language for their databases. SQL originated with the
system R project in 1947 at IBM's San Jose Research Center. Original
version of SQL was SEQUEL which was an Application Program Interface
(API) to the system R project.
SQL language can be used in two ways:-
Interactively:-Directly operate a database and produce the desired results.
Embedded inside another program:-SQL command can be embedded into another language such as Pascal, Java etc. .
MySQL is
an actual computer application you can download and install. It is the
most popular open-source database management system. Some common
relational database management systems that use SQL are: Oracle, Sybase,
Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Ingres, etc. Although most database
systems use SQL, most of them also have their own additional proprietary
extensions that are usually only used on their system. However, the
standard SQL commands such as "Select", "Insert", "Update", "Delete",
"Create", and "Drop" can be used to accomplish almost everything that
one needs to do with a database.
