Premium Paper Roll Quality Paper Density: 55GSM Clean cut edges Plastic core for smooth movement The print on the roll stays for 2-3 months Adding machine paper rolls are commonly used in adding machines, calculators, and other mechanical or electronic devices for printing calculations and entries. Here's a general procedure for adding a paper roll to such a machine: Purchase the Correct Size: Ensure you have the correct size of paper roll for your adding machine. Standard sizes are typically 2.25 inches (57mm) or 2.75 inches (70mm) in width. Prepare the Machine: Make sure the adding machine is turned off before you begin. Locate the paper roll compartment, which is usually at the back of the machine or under a removable cover. Remove the Old Roll (if applicable): If there is any remaining paper on the roll, tear it off cleanly. Then, press the release button or lever to open the paper roll compartment. Remove the old roll carefully, making sure not to leave any loose paper debris inside the machine. Insert the New Roll: Take the new paper roll and identify the end of the roll. Most paper rolls have a glued end or a tab that you can use to start unrolling the paper. Insert this end into the slot in the adding machine designed for the paper roll. Ensure that the paper is feeding from the bottom of the roll, as this is the standard direction for adding machines. Thread the Paper: Once the end of the paper is inserted into the slot, gently pull a few inches of paper out and guide it through the paper feed mechanism. This mechanism typically involves feeding the paper under a roller and over a metal bar. Refer to the adding machine's user manual for specific instructions on threading the paper. Close the Compartment: Once the paper is threaded correctly, close the paper roll compartment securely. Ensure that the paper roll is seated properly and that there is no excess slack in the paper. Test the Machine: Turn on the adding machine and perform a test calculation to ensure that the paper is feeding correctly and that the print quality is satisfactory. Adjust as Needed: If the paper is not feeding properly or if the print quality is poor, double-check that the paper roll is inserted correctly and that there are no obstructions in the paper feed mechanism. Make any necessary adjustments and retest the machine. Dispose of the Old Roll: If you removed an old paper roll, dispose of it properly according to local recycling guidelines. By following these steps, you can successfully add a paper roll to your adding machine and ensure smooth operation for your calculations and entries.
