Comprising two metal disc, each 75mm with variable separation,
supported on insulating pillars and provided with insulating handles on
the ends of the adjustment slide rods, 4mm sockets are drilled in the
end of the adjustment rod. A rectangular glass plate is supplied which
mounts in clips between the two disc and may be easily replaced by a
mounted on a polished wooden base.
Overall dimensions: 225x150x175mm

Useful
for exploring the principle of working of capacitance, and the
relationship between charge, voltage and capacitance. Comprises a pair
of adjustable circularmetal discs of diameter 100mm attached to the
insulated handles and is supported on insulated pillars mounted
vertically on a base. Another pillar has a clamp for holding glass
dielectric plate between the metal discs. The glass plate may be
replaced by plates of other material to study the effect of dielectric.
End of insulating handles of metals discs carry a 4mm socket for
electrical connection.
Electrostatics-generator-epinus condenser-two brass 100mm discs on insulated pillars with pith ball pendulum a removable rectangular glass plate on insulated pillar is supported between the three pillars can be slided and clamped with the help of wing nut on the rod in any position.
Traditionally, the contrast patterns of microscope condensers have to be actively selected by the operator. Adjusting conventional condensers to different applications as well as aligning the inserts of those condensers can be cumbersome. In search of making A.R.T. microscopy most user-friendly, OCTAX has developed the Adaptive Electronic CondenserTM.AdvantagesSuitable for Hoffman modulation contrast, relief contrast and phase contrast objectivesEasy change between contrast patterns by touch keysHead-up display shows active aperture pattern in clear text
