ARPA Radar An Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA) system that enhances marine radar by automatically tracking and calculating the movement of multiple targets, improving navigational safety and collision avoidance.
We provide ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) systems and services for marine vessels to enhance navigation safety, collision avoidance, and real-time tracking of surrounding ships. ARPA is an advanced radar-based system that automatically detects, tracks, and predicts the movement of nearby vessels, helping in safe decision-making during navigation.
Our ARPA solutions assist ship operators in monitoring target speed, course, closest point of approach (CPA), and time to closest point of approach (TCPA), ensuring safer and more efficient voyage management. We also support installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ARPA-enabled radar systems.
Ideal for ships, offshore vessels, ports, and maritime operations, our ARPA services improve situational awareness, reduce collision risks, and enhance overall marine navigation safety.
The ARI RADAR/ARPA Simulator is modeled on the latest Radar sets fitted on-board ships. It complies with RADAR performance standards (Section A-1/12) and guidance (Section B-1/12) of the STCW code. It meets IMO performance standards of MSC resolution A477(xii), A823(xix) for RADAR equipment and MSC resolution A823(ii) for ARPA equipment. The ARI Radar Simulator can be used to conduct the IMO Model course 1.07 and has been type approved by the DGS, Government of India for that purpose. Its application include conducting of various RADAR/ARPA simulator courses for navigators at operational and management level.
JRC s new JMA-9100 ARPA radar series integrates the latest leading technologies and represents a significant step change in terms of reliable performance and cost-effectiveness, making it one of the most advanced radar products available today.
