Parijatha has developed completed automated systems for wet cast production which basically consists of the accurate dosing system which can be screw system or volumetric hopper system which pours in the mixed material directly into the mould. The Mould is placed in steel or wood pallets of 600 x 600mm modules within which the configuration and placement of the designs have to be worked out to optimize maximum utilization of available area. This pallets moves in a linear motion in four to five stations starting from Mould cleaning/spraying, dosing of the mixed material, two stages of vibration and then taken off by the handling system to be stored one above the other. These stacks are than removed by fork lift to the curing area and allowed for curing. The products are then de-moulded the next day and the moulds are moves back to the production area. The level of automation and handling can be designed as per customer s specific requirements.Parijatha also manufactures Mixers and other related equipment that can compliment this system. In order to obtain void-free epoxy castings with low partial discharge and good du-electric strength suitable for use at high voltage it is necessary, among other things, to mix the resin pre-dried filler well, to de-aerate it by vacuum and finally to pour it, also in vacuum. The mixing chamber with circular cone-shaped bottom is heated with an oil jacket, the temperature being measured and controlled continuously. The temperature of the wall is hence uniform. A stirrer with baffle rotating at the correct speed which gives shearing action causes thorough resin filler mixing. The agitation exposes all the mix to vacuum thus degassing is thorough. The mixing paddle drive is with 3 phase motor reduction gear. The shaft seal is robust rotary seal with tapered roller bearings. The pouring valve is made of P.T.F.E. (Teflon) this makes cleaning easy. Trap is used to very effective stop abrasive filler particles from entering ruining the vacuum pump. Water-cooled trap is provided for preventing volatile hardeners from entering the vacuum pump. Pouring chamber can be heated or unheated as required. Rotary turntable with vacuum-tight rotary seal or chain sprocket driven trolley or rails allows the moulds to be positioned below the pouring spout without breaking vacuum. Epoxy mixing de-aerating plant: Medium size epoxy vacuum mixing plant for use in the laboratories of a progressive Electrical Manufacturer can handle from 5 kg to 200 kg of Resin-filler gardner mix. It is very versatile being able to handle solid or liquid resins hot or cold processing. Temperatures fro 160oC to room temperature are possible. A vacuum of 1 torr is easily obtained. the use of the plant enables void-free castings to be obtained.

Specification: Concast plant is also called by continuous casting machine(CCM) it can produce billets in various sizes. Continuous casting, also called strand casting, is the process whereby molten metal is solidified into a "semifinished" billet, bloom, or slab for subsequent rolling in the finishing mills. Prior to the introduction of continuous casting in the 1950s, steel was poured into stationary molds to form ingots. Since then, "continuous casting" has evolved to achieve improved yield, quality, productivity and cost efficiency. It allows lower-cost production of metal sections with better quality, due to the inherently lower costs of continuous, standardised production of a product, as well as providing increased control over the process through automation. This process is used most frequently to cast steel (in terms of tonnage cast). Aluminium and copper are also continuously cast. Molten metal is tapped into the ladle from furnaces. After undergoing any ladle treatments, such as alloying and degassing, and arriving at the correct temperature, the ladle is transported to the top of the casting machine. Usually the ladle sits in a slot on a rotating turret at the casting machine. One ladle is in the 'on-cast' position (feeding the casting machine) while the other is made ready in the 'off-cast' position, and is switched to the casting position when the first ladle is empty. From the ladle, the hot metal is transferred via a refractory shroud (pipe) to a holding bath called a tundish. The tundish allows a reservoir of metal to feed the casting machine while ladles are switched, thus acting as a buffer of hot metal, as well as smoothing out flow, regulating metal feed to the molds and cleaning the metal. Metal is drained from the tundish through another shroud into the top of an open-base copper mold. The depth of the mold can range from 0.5 to 2 metres (20 to 79 in), depending on the casting speed and section size. The mold is water-cooled to solidify the hot metal directly in contact with it; this is the primary cooling process. It also oscillates vertically (or in a near vertical curved path) to prevent the metal sticking to the mold walls. A lubricant can also be added to the metal in the mold to prevent sticking, and to trap any slag particles including oxide particles or scale that may be present in the metal and bring them to the top of the pool to form a floating layer of slag. Often, the shroud is set so the hot metal exits it below the surface of the slag layer in the mold and is thus called a submerged entry nozzle (SEN). In some cases, shrouds may not be used between tundish and mold; in this case, interchangeable metering nozzles in the base of the tundish direct the metal into the moulds. Some continuous casting layouts feed several molds from the same tundish.
