Our Colloidal Graphite Lubricants (Lubricote) withstand these conditions amazingly well. The extraordinary properties of Lubricote are due to its highly stable suspension of pure, ultrafine graphite in various liquid media such as oil, water, solvents etc. The sub-microscopic particles of graphite in Lubricote are carried to the surface requiring lubrication where, under the existing conditions of high temperatures and pressures, the carrier medium is displaced, leaving the graphite in a tenacious film. This film fills up even microscopic machining in-accuracies and prevents metal-to-metal contact and shear. In addition to its manifold uses as a lubricant, Lubricote can be used to form electrostatic shields and conductive coatings because graphite is a good conductor of electricity. You can also use it for impregnating porous articles such as fabrics, ceramics, paper, packing materials and sintered bearings. The range of our colloidal graphite is classified as- LUBRICOTE-X is a dispersion of colloidal graphite in refined mineral oil/synthetic oil. LUBRICOTE-Z is a homogenous suspension of colloidal graphite in water. LUBRICOTE-S is a colloidal suspension of graphite in various organic solvents/liquids.

COLLOIDAL GRAPHITE DISPERSION Colloidal Graphite Dispersion is a suspension of highly micronised and the purest variety of graphite particles in oil/Water/Solvent medium made by means of some dispersive chemical agent. It is so processed that graphite stays in suspension even after long periods. It is capable of withstanding a very high temperature under severe load and pressure due to its presence of high stable suspension of pure micro fine graphite particle incorporated in the said composition. COLGRAPH - FDL is a micro fine colloidal graphite material specially developed for use in the metal forming industries such as foundries, forgings etc. Colgraph is synthetic graphite dispersed in an aqueous medium and contains no organic substances carbonizing at low temperatures and has minimum or no harmful effect on the environment with respect to waste water pollution.

Colloidal Graphite

Colloidal Graphite is a specially manufactured compound of pure finest grade Graphite powder dispersed in Mineral Oil with suitable additives, where Graphite content is 25%. Colloidal Graphite is an Import Substitute. Colloidal Graphite is recommended for use mainly in Ferrous Forging plants working at high temperatures and pressures. It is an ideal lubricant and release agent for Dies, Moulds, Tools, Die-casting, Glass moldings, etc. It is used as an additive for the manufacture of extreme pressure lubricants, Wire and tube drawing compounds, as an antiwear for machining and cutting fluids, greases, etc. Colloidal Graphite is highly concentrated and therefore may be diluted with good quality, light mineral oil in the proportion of 1:3 to 8 parts depending upon the job in view.
