In today s high risk environment, one of the most common threats is that of bombs and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). If detected and diffused timely, many lives can be saved. The personnel who handle such tasks have to be well protected and equipped for undertaking such explosive detonations. Carapace demining suits are very effective in providing protection to such personnel from all threats emanating from such explosive devices. It offers protection from not only severe heat and pressure but also absorbs lethal projectiles and high velocity fragments. Since manoeuvr ability is indispensable, Carapace suits are made from special materials in order to be light weight and offer complete freedom of movement
