Dipped cords made of Polyester/Aramid can be manufactured in various constructions and finishes. They primarily serve the purpose of reinforcing V-belts, which are predominantly used in the automotive industry, but also occasionally find applications in the mechanical and domestic appliances industry (eg: in washing machines, tumble driers etc.). The dipped cords are made of High Modulus Low Shrinkage yarns to ensure the belts maintain their dimensional stability when being subjected to high working stresses over long periods of time. All cords are RFL coated to ensure an excellent adhesion to the rubber substrate. The table below lists our manufacturing capabilities for dipped cords.
