EHV Cable Laying Work

Coper cable. Extra high voltage (EHV) underground cables are a type of power cable used to transmit large amounts of electrical energy at high voltages over long distances,

Cable laying work involves installing cables for electrical, telecommunications, or data transmission by methods like direct burial, trenching, or aerial installation, following careful planning and safety protocols. This includes route surveying, digging trenches, physically pulling and placing the cables, and then backfilling and protecting them with materials like sand and concrete. The process is completed by testing and terminating the cables to ensure they function correctly and safely.

Our team has the experience of laying EHV cable under water one of the unique projects that our team member was involved in was an underwater installation for M/s Vivekananda Rock memorial at Kanyakumari, Tamil nadu. This project comprised of laying 700 meter 3.5x 95 sq mm copper submarine cable laid on sea bed at a depth of 6 meters. Special RCC boulders were designed to hold cable under water to maintain the same alignment even during rough weather and water turbulence. The project was commissioned in 1988

Bereian has undertook Under Water (Marine) Continental Cable laying works and connectorization for our prestigious client DRDO (vishakapatnam) Pacific Ocean(4kms) and has successfully the project upto the clients expectation. Submarine Cables play vital role in telecommunications services and electrical power transmission by providing cost-effective solutions to customers who require basic advanced facilities in the industry. Marine cables carry heavy international communication traffic without the transmission delays associated with satellites. The main reason that submarine cables rather than satellites are the dominant international communications infrastructure is that modern fiber-optic technology allows huge (and increasing) capacity per cable. Submarine cables provide high-speed broadband connectivity and capacity for large geographic areas that are often important centers of trade and communication. Submarine cables alleviate existing capacity constraints and meet the demand for future growth. With the world's increasing demand for better and faster Internet and telephone capacity, telecommunications companies are rushing to crisscross the oceans with thousands of miles of fiber optic cables.
