We are manufacturers of Spring End Grinding Machine - This Automatic Spring End Grinding Machine gives economical grinding of exact length of springs in large or small batches, with ends parallel axis and ends truly square simultaneous grinding at both ends use of both methods of grinding i.e. crush grinding or down feed grinding. The machines can be supplied in three different configurations. The Spring End Grinding Machine operates in two different modes. 1. CRUSH GRINDING: In this process the distance between the two grinding wheels is pre-set. The springs are then fed through the loading plate between the grinding wheels, removing the excess material to the desired length. In case desired ground length is not achieved in single pass springs passed multiple times through wheels by bringing down the top wheel slightly for each pass. 2. Down feed Grinding: In down-feed grinding top grinding wheel position is not fixed.It travels down from a pre-fixed starting position to an end position.End position is a desired ground height of the spring. The time speed of down-word movement of the top grinding wheel is controlled.At end position springs are allowed to pass through the grinding wheels for some more time.This is known as Spark-out Time is for improving finishing of the springs.Machines are equipped with fully automatic down-feed grinding cycles controlled by a Programmable Logic Control a Touch screen HMI.

DSK manufactures grinding machines considering vital aspect of grinding process. E1 E2 critical parameters are achieved by controlling machine parameter very closely. Grinding process is majorly done on compression springs. As in many applications spring has to stand straight, mate flush with flat surface, exerting uniform pressure maintaining consisting length. These springs are to be ground. E1 E2 are very critical parameters to be maintained on grinding even though after controlling in coiling of springs. There are three basic type of Grinding machines viz. Crush Grinders, End Grinders (Self Weight Grinders) and Automatic Down-feed Grinders. 1.Crush Grinders: In Crush Grinders Springs is passed between two rotating disc grinding wheels on a rotating table (Loading Plate). Grinding Wheels are a fixed distance apart from each other and springs are compressed slightly by the entrance guide plates as they enter wheels. Springs of lower wire diameter need to be passed only once between the grinding wheels and springs of higher wire diameter need to be passed in multiple pass depending on wire diameter. 2.Automatic Down-feed Grinders (CNC Grinders): Though these grinders are controlled by auto down feed according to the program fed as per requirement, concept of grinding remains the same as crush grinding. However springs are ground differently. The springs are loaded on a rotary loading plate and passed between two grinding wheels. Top wheel is fed down incrementally according to set program. Loading plate holding springs in these grinders run at a faster speed than crush grinders. These grinders can hold tighter tolerances for squareness and free length than Crush grinders. These grinders can be run on either mode Crush Grinding or Down-Feed Grinding as per requirement by selecting the MODE on the HMI. Whole process can be programmed on HMI (Human Machine Interface) and is controlled by Logical Program controller. These grinders also give facility to set up desired grinding finish with help of Spark Out time at the end of each cycle. 3. End Grinders (Self Weight Grinders): Some springs are to be ground only on single end or are typically too long and flexible viz. front fork springs; these are ground on grinding machines with single spindle (Grinding Wheel).
