Developing one's ability to create successful photographs must include some basic technical theory; otherwise it is difficult to get the most out of the tools, fully explore materials, or turn out reliable results. The rapid and sometimes radical development of this technical theory challenges the photographers' power to express. Hence, to meet the challenge one must update with the state-of-the-art technology and have a better grasp of the entire gamut of photography. Foto Unit is an institution where courses are conducted to prepare the students to meet the challenge. For the last four decades Foto Unit has maintained the pedagogy with contemporary context.
