This is a sturdy pair of binoculars. Meant to give that turn-of-the-twentieth-century look. They do work, but if you are a serious bird or other watcher, I do not recommend these for sport. They are intended, and sold as a decorative item. Made of brass, these always looks great in a den, office, or library.
