The mission of the department is to continuously strive for achieving excellence in logical thinking and computing disciplines. It is being pursued through its spectrum of academic and value-added programs in computer science and engineering. The sustained effort is to produce graduates with potential to design and develop systems involving the integration of software and hardware devices; innovative approaches to programming and problem solving as well as creative ways to use Computers; Large scale software systems; and computing infrastructure of an organization.Currently the CSE department is having a strength of 400 students across all the four years. It has well qualified faculty members with all of them having M.Tech CSE degrees and four of them are about to complete their Ph.D. Apart from the regular teaching the department invites many visiting professors, distinguished professionals from industry, eminent researchers and teaching/ research assistants at regular intervals to expose the students about the industry practices.
